My Trip Out

Gay married man coming out story

What up with u’d bitches?

New readers, there’s a lot to read here. I’ve basically transferred all the posting from my old blog domain (which shall hopefully go unnamed) and am starting afresh. Sporty new faggy color scheme. But I also wanted to have some fresh writing. In the end, I was tailoring and controlling my writings in consideration to the people who ‘might’ read it. Well that’s no good, nothing original.

To prevent Google searches, I’ve shortened the cute name of my boyfriend to simply TC. I hope you can follow that. TC is gonna be 28 this year. I’m gonna be 50. We will have been together4 years. So ┬ájust remember TC cause I ain’t spelling out what it stands for. TC is not aware I’ve started a new blog and thus I’m free. Free I say, free to write what I feel.

It you think having a 28 YO bf with 23 years of age difference is easy. Think again. Yes, he’s horribly cute, in a bouncy springy way, but he’s horribly immature, not always wise to the ways of the world. Things important to him, are of no consequence to me. Having said that, if you’re taking home some balding 38 year old with gray chest hairs, a beer belly and snores, I shall immediately cease my bitching and complaining.

One of my challenges has been in finding new friends to fit with my new life style. It ain’t been easy. Old fags are like old battleships, best sunk off shore as a reef. But I wanted a ‘bud’ someone who wasn’t cute , twinkie and < 30. I also didn’t have time for any attitude. Enter Bob. Bob, I met at a local gay event, mid 40’s, a long time homo, nothing special to look at (think crab trap with a chicken leg inside), but sweet and sincere.

We got to talking and I just liked him. So I reached out (you gotta put the fig leaf out) and invited him to dinner, he agreed and we had a pleasant time. A few meetings later, he’s on my regular call list. Not every night, but enough. He’s not┬ácautious, he’s got a circle of friends and like many, he doesn’t have enough time to take on new souls like me. But I’ve been working it and slowly he realized that I’m a nice guy, looking for a friend and I’m actually a pretty good friend (got the Boy Scout merit badge).

It’s nice to be able to call someone local and chat and with time, I’m sure he’ll be fun to hang out with. He has a small circle of close friends and assuming good behaviour (ok – remote I know), I’ll wind my way into the little group. I’ll let you know.
