My Trip Out

Gay married man coming out story

Meet my boyfriend

This is TC or rather this is all I generally see of him 97% of the time, in bed, snoozing, brown & toasty. This photo was taken shortly before I attacked him. He’s bitching n’ complaining under the covers about me disturbing his sleep. Get used to it big boy.

So I’ve been pretty open with you, TC and I haven’t done the dirty deed yet. Not certainly for the lack of me trying, whining, complaining, yelling, screaming, crying. He’s a tough nut to crack. But I’m just the guy to do it. Reality is he’s quite warm and has been opening himself up to me in layers. Doling out his love in small single doses. But it’s frustrated the crap out of me.

Last night I met an Indonesian friend at an Asian bar (ok – so I’m a little obvious, right?). He introduces me to Frank. Frank is your typical Asian, somewhere between 22 and 2000 years old and doesn’t look a day over 12, well dressed, very sweet. Frank’s 37 and has been with his BF for the last 7 years. I’m enjoying chatting with Frank and in my normal openness reveal what’s going on (or rather NOT going on) with Chris and I.

He’s not surprised and tells me he made his current BF wait for 1 year before he did the deed. He was complementary of Chris and thought he was being wise in keeping things at a slow pace.

In the straight world, we have the 3 date rule. Namely, you’re supposed to get laid on the 3rd date. An we’re not talking blowjob, we’re speaking reach for the sky honey cause you’re gonna feel this.

But I am starting to understand that man-on-man has such huge sexual energy, it can quickly overshadow something more meaningful. Slow is perhaps better.

So I’ll bit my tongue and wait it out, damn him.

  1. WOW! You’ve still not done it yet??? Holy cow Batman!!! How do you cope???

  2. I frankly am proud of you. Build a relationship of trust and comfort. Meeting your needs is important, but falling in love is better right? It will be great when it happens.
